These last two days I've been very light headed. I'm under a lot of stress at the moment and have been taking Mirtazipine for about a month. After googling it would appear that it can cause light headedness but surely not this late on in treatment?

Any advice

Thanks

I agree, it is a bit late for the side effect to come on after a month of taking the medication.

Are you taking any other tablets e.g for BP?

Does the "light headiness" only come on at certain times, e.g when you stand up from a sitting position?

Do you just feel light headed or is there an element of dizziness(vertigo)?

Sorry for the late response. Lightheaded whenever stood, feel like I will pass out at any moment - more so when I look to the side.

I don't feel unwell but three days of feeling like this is tiresome. My legs feel wobbly most of the time.

No other mess that I haven't been raking form and long time

Ive also noticed if I don't concentrate when walking I swerve as though I am drunk and will fall
Nothing life threatening comes to mind, but see your GP.
Have you been eating too little and/ or drinking too much alcohol recently? I'm not being rude; I've just noticed this happens to me when I do both of those things.
You might need to alter the dose. It's true what Cloverjo said, drinking or not eating enough with meditation can cause low blood sugar/ low blood pressure. I was on them for 4 years.x

Thanks all - Been ensuring food and drink is at a good level to be sure but no difference. Will consult the GP next week if still happening.

Update: It would appear that the light-headed, wooziness I am still suffering is all part of my nervous breakdown. Who would have thought it?!

Thanks all for the advice and concern
Feedback much appreciated.
Sorry to interrupt, GF - Sqad, if you are around, do you have a throwaway email I can contact you on please?
