Can anybody please help me with the quote for No.70 across? It reads: They all thought Britons hate battle (4,5,2,2,3,6,4,5). This is a jumble of the letters in the answer but none of the anagram solvers can produce the answer. Thanks.
I think the answer is an excerpt from a monarch's Christmas Day speech and as far as I can make out the second word is S?A?L and the last two words are T?A? L?G?T. Thanks for any help.
Just seen on another post that Ricker apologised and corrected to John Masefield quote not Kipling. So, either I'm a fool for spending 20 minutes looking through Kipling quoations or my education is sadly lacking. ;))
