Just enjoyed an ITV programme on the life of Kenny Everett.
The only DJ imo opinion who had great talent, played great records and had my sense of humour (irreverant and wacky). That man always made me laugh out loud and I am off to bed shortly with a sore stomach through laughter.
How I miss his shows. Wish they would let us enjoy repeats but I guess the PC Stasi wouldn't agree. :-(

He was responsible for making Bohemian Rhapsody a hit - he played it 14 times over one weekend I understand. Very clever man, but the high-ups couldn't cope with his humour in those days.
