I was wondering that too. I don't know what the Chinese New Year has to do with it.
I apologise if I've missed some irony here. I don't always get things like that.

No irony intended Jo !

I watch very little TV these days but 20:00 hours on a Monday is one of the highlights of the week...my evening is planned around it !
And no Only Connect either. What are we to do? ;)
There's always Tipping Point. :-D
I was wondering where it went too .Fingers on buzzers .Starters for ten .Who at the BBC decided to ruin people's Monday evening ? I usually got three maybe four right on a good evening .
You can always watch old episodes of the show available on youtube still...
There was a special 3-day series on Chinese new year on BBC...it replaced mikey's beloved University Challenge.
Haha, I started to watch Tipping Point yesterday as a quick fix for my quiz habit, but OH was soon laughing at me for watching such a dumb quiz. We run an amusement arcade, so watching people try to get coins out of a machine is not very interesting.
That would be cheating I'd get 6 right then lol

You should do that, weecalf. Might improve your 'batting average'.
Thank you, pasta freak. That's where the Chinese New Year came in!
^I was a bit slow on the buzzer there.
It's back next week but look on the bright side - the series will last one more week now that they've missed an episode.
Is your OP a starter for ten Mikey?
