No idea what section to put this in so it's going here.

Will it be dark by 7.30pm on 25th Oct, I know the clocks will go back that weekend but for the life of me I can't think if we'll have darkness.

The reason I ask (incase you think I've gone mad) is that I want to book tickets for the Ghost Bus Tour in London but I think it needs to be dark to get the atmosphere.

Thanks for any replies.

When the clocks go back it gets darker 'earlier' in the evening. It will be dark at 7.30pm.
25th Oct is the Thursday before the clock change weekend so it will be the same as now (except the sun will set about 50 minutes earlier than at present).
sorry, 25th is a Friday but same logic applies
I don't know the answer but if there is still some daylight, wear sunglasses ;-)
I wouldn't think it would be 'dark' but dark enough to need headlights on. Mind you, it depends where in the UK you are. Up in Scotland it will probably be dark by then.

Thanks all, I'll book some tickets :)
I always suspected you had a strong fondness for spirits....

Indeed I do Mrs ;)
It's dark by 7.30pm now already (in the South) so will certainly be dark by then!
Sunset in London on 25/10 is 5:46pm.

Add about 30 mins for twilight and it will be fully dark by about 6:20pm.

Enjoy your ghoulies ...
Enjoy your ghoulies?....I was disappointed to be missing an event in Ireland which invited me to come to a Halloween night where the entertainment included...Watching the goolies whizzing around the village green.
Sorry, I forgot the hour change between France and England so it will be dark!!

I hope there's plenty of ghoulies ;)
I was hoping too, Rocky...til it was pointed out as a typo... :-(
