I have a book,tatum o neal,paper life,first edition,the pages are very roughly cut,says'printed on aciod free paper,but its like a kind of velour,any ideas anyone????

Is it from the States? I bought a copy of Amanda Knox's book from the U.S., and the pages were rough cut, like if bigger sheets had been folded in half and cut with a knife. I wondered if it was some sort of American "back to nature" thing?

yes it is from the states,iwas wondering if it was a rough first cut because of the way it had like serrated pages,and yes the paper is weird as well.
