Lighter Life diet plan...

Has anybody heard of this or know anybody who has done this? A woman I know from the school gates,has lost 6 stone in 5 months and looks incredible.When I asked her how she had done this she said she had done the Lighter Life plan,which involves no food at all apart from their bars/drinks and water.It is very very strict - but they do insist you get your doctor to give you a medical before they allow you to do it,and you have 1-1 counselling every week.Is this plan a new thing then?

Her memory went, she was tired all the time and her hair started to fall out. That being said she was glad she did it although she would'nt do it again. The process of the diet is sending your body into ketosis which the NHS website says is not advised for more than 2 weeks, so 100 days seems excessive. Oh and another thing, everytime my friend weighed herself at home or in Boots she always seemed to be 1/2 stone lighter than when the consultant weighed her.
