In the interest of diversity, why are there no benefit scroungers chosen from ethnic minorities, so as to be portrayed in these kind of documentaries?

Yes you are right I do not watch these shows,and you will notice I was referring to this one particular show, and my reason for entering the thread was a tongue in the cheek spoof at recent diversity demands, but then I have already explained that.

They are not benefit scroungers, but I presume people of low intelligent that purchase items and then find later that they couldn't afford them in the first place.

Regarding 'Can't Pay', just about all the participants on the show are on benefits.

But that's not the point. You asked about 'these kinds of documentaries'.

Whilst this show may feature predominantly white people (because it's filmed in Jaywalk), just about every other programme on Channel Five and CH4 has a very mixed set of participants.
