I watched an old episode of Spooks yesterday on the Drama channel. The story was about radicalised young boys becoming suicide bombers in Birmingham. In the final scenes, a young boy with a bomb vest entered a children's playground. One of the good guys went in to talk him out of it. The children all scarpered. The good guy said to the boy "I see you're wearing a Villa shirt, suicide is a bit extreme even for an Aston Villa supporter".

After yesterday's defeat by Spurs, and relegation almost a certainty, there may be a few more suicidal Villa supporters.
