W10 Start Up
I have just changed my printer from an HP to a Canon.
Before adding the Canon, I uninstalled all the HP software.
Now on start up the computer moans that it can't find an HP module.
Presumably there is some start up list somewhere that needs changing.
Can anyone tell me what to do please?
Be gentle with me, I'm not familiar with a computers giblets.

How did you uninstall it ? It sounds like it was an inadequate uninstall process.
Clutching at straws but is there a clue regarding a particular programme that is expecting the printer ? A wordprocessor perhaps ?
Are there any clues about the driver in the Control Panel ?

Update:
I had to make the same changes to my daughter's W7 laptop, and this didn't have the problem.
The difference was that in W7 there was an uninstall option in the program list.
I therefore reinstalled the minimum possible for the old HP printer on the W10 computer, but couldn't locate an uninstall option.
I am therefore leaving it installed to stop the annoying message.
