If you want seclusion I'll point you at an option: http://www.cooperisland.com/index.html & rent the beach house - �250 or so pp; flights ex london about �450 to Beef Island in the BVI; water taxi to the island around �15. Spend the rest of any budget in the bar at the yacht club and just chill.

Have been to Bequia on the ferry for a day while on holiday in St Vincent- probably about 7 or 8 years ago.

Main "town" that the ferry sails into is set on a hillside around a fairly wide bay. Very sleepy, with a smattering of shops and restaurants. We walked around the bay to "Frangipani" a lovely hotel/bar/restaurant on the waterside that was owned by the prime-minister at the time.

Unless you like things REALLY laid back, and want to lie about in the sun all day, I'd guess boredom might set in after a few days- but then not so much if you are on honeymoon!

One other option you may want to consider is travelling up or down the Grenadines on the ferry, spending a couple of days at each island. We talked about this as an idea at the time, but so many places-so little time- haven't got round to doing it yet.

Also, if you really want to spoil yourself, there is a fairly upmarket hotel on a private island- Young Island, which lies a couple of hundred yards off the south coast of St Vincent- ideal honeymoon potential

My boyfriend is going there in two weeks time to stay at a friends Villa for a "Stag Do" I will report back although I doubt I will get a true account!!!

We spent a week there last Xmas. If you go you will find a beautiful island, with wonderful people and a very, very relaxed feel to it. With a bit of effort you can walk to anywhere on the island, and although it is quiet, we were never bored. Taxis are very cheap so it is easy to get around. One "must do" is a sail on The Friendship Rose from Port Elizabeth http://www.friendshiprose.com/
and say Hi to Alan, Meg , Hazel and Sarah for us, as well as the crew of the ship. Visit the turtle sanctuary if you can, and talk to the goats! Watch out for the mosquitoes too - they are quite aggressive. Don't be persuaded by the fruit sellers in the market. Ask the price, and listen, and don't be afraid to say no to most of it. Otherwise you will regret it, I promise - when you work out what you have spent!! Some very good restaurants along the seafront. If you like lobster, and I wasn't bothered until then, you will love L'Auberge de Grenadines. And very inexpensive too. Try Gingerbread, another restaurant (where the hot gingerbread is superb too) and Mac's is nice. Prices in general are very low compared to say Barbados or Mustique.
Some good bars - the locals are very friendly and will make you welcome, without any hidden agenda. A big sailing community, with a (relatively) busy marina, and cruise ships turn up from time to time, so these are good days to lie low. ;-) If you want to know more, post again and I will try to help.
