Strange Weather, Snowing In The Full Sun!

A lovely warm and sunny morning at 07.30 this morning, when it started snowing, not heavily but it would have settled very quickly on the bone dry roads, it lasted for about 20 minutes then gone again.

I see one of the newspapers saying we would be having a lot of snow next week!

I will believe that when I see it, short on good news I suspect.

We've had a couple of hail storms in the last hour here in the S.W. Could have sworn I heard rumbles of thunder too.

Heavy hail at 1 30ish for half an hour. Some of the hailstones were the size of pennies. Ok now very cold.

Just went dark 2 hours early with a massive hail storm. Was sunny an hour ago.

Early this afternoon I was in my polytunnel, my thermometer was showing 32 deg. centigrade and outside it was snowing !
