First have you checked for any parasites - fleas, mites etc?

I had a cat once with this sort of problem and the vet suggested seaweed in her diet - it worked!

Hi weemeg

Could it be stress?

This happened to one of our cats. Our neighbours thought that kittens were just so darn cute! that they would have a collection of about 13 at one point! My poor cats were terrorised in their own garden and this caused the fur on one of my cats to fall out, all round his bum, back legs and tail (he looked so funny but we were careful not to laugh when he was within earshot!) We took him to the vet who ruled out parasites and said it was due to stress.

Poor little thing, hope her fur grows back soon :o)

Possible hormone deficiency. If so a hormone replacement drug from your vet will probably cure.
