What Have You Thrown In The Bin?

What things have you thrown away over the years that you wished you had hung on to?

Nothing. I have very few sentimental items.

My frill over my kitchen curtains - which took me 2 days to put on as I hadn't a clue.

Also a large 4 cherub jardiniere which had to be taken to a florists in town to be filled with beautiful artificial flowers (no parking area - so took a chance). Left it into a charity shop.

Vinyl records - I had no way to play them

I once threw one of a very expensive pair of gold earrings in the fire. The bit that goes through the ear had broken and I'd wrapped the earring in a tissue and put it in my bag to take it to the jeweller for repair. Then I tidied my bag out....

I am a hoarder and have far too much useless stuff. I threw out a load of my son's baby shoes a few years ago and wish I hadn't. Even though they would now be useless, I still regret it.

I cdan remember throwing away some old silver picture frames, because they looked old fashioned and a silver perfume bottle that my dad gave me years ago because it got bent!

There are loads of Ladybird books that I had as a child, and my son then had, which I gave away about 15 years ago. I wish I'd kept them, because of the renewed interest in them nowadays, and it would have been nice to pass them onto any grandchildren I might have.
