I was just watching this on the pc, and I wondered who the two ladies standing to the left of Prince Philip were, and where do the lads holding the Queens train come from ?

At first I thought might be 2 of her ladies-in-waiting, there to help her in and out of her garb, but then thought surely they'd wait in the Robing Room until her return?
On a third thought, maybe protocol dictates that HM has at least 2 ladies-in-waiting with her at public events ?

Finally, the doors open and the Queen emerges from the Robing Room, with a fanfare announcing her procession. She is now wearing the Imperial State Crown and her Robe of State, which is carried by four Pages of Honour. In addition, she is wearing the collar of the Order of the Garter, the most senior order of chivalry in the United Kingdom. The procession is led by the Officers of Arms and Heralds, then the Great Officers of State. The Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, is attended by four Pages of Honour who carry her train. Behind her are the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, followed by the ladies-in-waiting and other members of the Royal Household. The procession goes the length of the Royal Gallery and through the Prince’s Chamber, into the House of Lords.
