What is extraordinary about the online news coverage of this tragedy, is that though The Telegraph, The Independent and RT give it the main headline cover, the BBC sees a 'celebrity injunction' as being of higher importance.

That's right. UK news is generally UK specific. The plane is the lead story on the Home page and the World Page. It is second place on the UK specific page. That doesn't necessarily seem wrong to me although I'm amazed that the injunction story gets a mention at all, other than it highlights the oddity of our legal system and differences between England and Scotland

fiction-factory; To my mind, it doesn't really matter which page it's on, a crashed passenger jet, presumed by an act of terrorism, is priority news everywhere. It must be a very weird editor who thinks otherwise.
