Anybody seen those knitted poppies blanketing the lawns down to the Royal Hospital - amazing, 300k of them have been made, a couple of Ozzie women starting the project?
Anybody from here knit one......?
Then there's that mad Harrods British Eccentrics garden - almost puts Lewis Carroll to shame, the work of the crazy Irish designer.
Went to see the Tower of London ceramic poppies - they were amazing and I bought two for my grandsons which have pride of place in the garden during the summer. My daughter also knits poppies for Remembrance Sunday for which she asks for a donation. All money raised goes to Help for Heroes and the Earl Haig poppy appeal. She has raised quite a lot over the past three years.
