they should try banning cars in public places; an exhaust pipe churns out loads more harmfuls than smokers do; Are smokers the scapegoat for petrol companies?

And a ban on cigarettes will only result in even more "Caaaaam downs" due to the poor little blighters having nothing to soothe their nerves. Without wishing to perpetuate a well-worn myth....wouldn't it be a better idea to ban the tucking of jumper into denim trouser?
the premise here is wrong- if you look at the concentration of nasties in the emissions from each, a smoker is far worse than a car. no smoker would pass an emissions test. That aside, I rarely have problems with ignorant car drivers blowing their exhaust fumes across my plate when i am trying to eat.
