ford escort brake pads

can anyone tell me, step by step, how to change the brake pads on my 1995 ford escort as i have lost my manual

do one side at a time using the untouched side as a reference.

Jack car. Remove wheel. Remove spring anti-vibration clipr from the front (as you look at it) of the caliper. Remove th plastic caps from the two rubber shrouds at the back of the caliper, Undo the two bolts in the rubber shrouds with a brake key (or a 7mm Allen key). Withdraw the caliper, including brake pads, from the disc and caliper mount (some vigorous jiggling may be required). Remove old pads from caliper. Open the brake fluid resevoir and then compress the caliper piston (open the gap between where the pads fit). Fit new pads. Refitting is a reversal removing, remember to close the brake fluid resevoir.

skids do u not pump the brake pedal b4 u drive ur car after fitting disc n pads??????????????????????????????????????? stevog b4 u start the car pump the brake pedal till it goes solid then u have to bed the brakes in!! may feel soft at first but shud be fine
