help me please. i bought this item for my 86yr hubby for audio books, as he is seriously sight impaired, now i found it will not charge up, i discovered the fault lies in the charging cable..so...what do i look for to buy (from amazon) a replcement cable...are all cables for eg. universal...or what do i look for to order?i feel a bit of an idiot having to ask this, but maybe someone can sort me out. .....thank you.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I've never heard of that make but a bit of googling suggests that the cable is a fairly standard USB phone charging one. The problem is that there are several types of cable that qualify as 'fairly standard!
Rather than ordering from Amazon, I recommend taking the duff cable into a 'discount' store and looking for one that's similar. (Nearly all 'discount' shops seem to sell them). Alternatively you can 'cover all the bases' by buying something like this:

Alternatively, simply demand a usable cable from the firm that supplied the thing in the first place!
