YUK sorry folks but a bit yellowy ... bleach doesn't help .. what will ?? Thanks all.

I am betting its the limescale that is looking yellow. Get a thick loo cleaner that removes limescale, bleach doesn’t and squirt it around. If there is much fizzing then its limescale, persevere till its all gone.

^^^Yes, first use an acid-based scale-removing toilet cleaner...then a chlorine-based bleach (NOT at the same time).

not only not at the same time, but flush very very well between the two. The thick limescale removers are designed to stick around through a couple of flushes.

a bottle of cola doon the pan ..leave overnight...

I really recommend this product made by YOU toilet cleaner and descaler. Leave it on overnight and you won't believe the results the next morning.

I don't whether modern-day cola is as effective, but 50 years ago Coca Cola could remove stains that Domestos would run a mile from.

Viakal limescale spray is good. Spray it up under the rim and all over the pan and leave it overnight .We live in a really hard water area and I'm forever descaling stuff,toilets ,kettles,washing machine etc .Viakal is the best stuff I've found for the toilet .

I use Harpic power plus (black bottle). Scoop as much water out of the bowl as possible and give it a good coating of the Harpic. Leave at least half an hour, get your rubber gloves on and give it a good scrub with one of those green scouring pads to remove any stubborn scale. Keep the window open.

I think Parazone is a bleach. All it does is bleach the colour yellow out of the limescale, it'll come back within no time as all.
