Sorry, I don't get it. Can someone explain, please? I assume it's a pun on toed/toad and hole being hmm hmm, but I don't get the significance of the Ritz. Sorry, it's late. I'm looking for entertainment while I can't sleep.

I often read the jokes on here, roll my eyes and think 'did you actually laugh at that'

Some 20 years ago, when I was working as an operator for National Rail, I received a call from the late Frank Carson, who was checking his train times after a gig. This call lasted twenty minutes as he and I bandied jokes. I was severely reprimanded for this.
