Anyone on here really care about women's sport, or Paralympic sport? Women's tennis and wheelchair tennis are certainly not for me. You?

I enjoy watching most sports and have always made a point of watching as much of the Paralympics, or Disabled World/European championships as is televised.

I admire the dedication shown by anyone who faces real 'life-challenges' to participate in sporting events which they could quite easily ignore.

Women's tennis is just as watchable as men's tennis.......you just have to decide it is. :o)
Hewitt & Reid win.
Great result for the young Brits. Over to the women's final now. Vernonk what are you watching?
No, no and no
I can happily watch the ladies cricket and football.

I love the volleyball in the flimpics as well.
I do like most sports, but nowadays we seem to have to endure hours of discussions before the start.

A bit like now on BBC, they have been talking about today's final for the past hour, dissecting how they serve, their back-hand, smash shots, it goes on forever.
We have also had ///////// showing us on a computer chart, where their 1st, 2nd serve goes etc.

Its the same before the start of football matches, and don't mention F1, that's a marathon before they are off.
trt, I agree.
the comments 'this is how they got there', doh, if folk like a sport, they'll follow it and know how 'they' got there.

Apparently you do

Mrs retro prefers women's tennis because there are more rallys and running about whereas men's tennis appears to rely on strength and speed of serve with lots of aces.
That seems a perfectly reasonable explanation to me and she is no bigot so any other nasty adjectives you would like to describe her for expressing her preference?
