Make sure there is a separate area for tattooing away from the waiting room. Make sure they open the new needle in front of you. Don't rely on needle packets lying around and assume the needle is new. Make sure they tip the ink out of the bottle into little cups, then someone elses needle hasn't been in your ink. Make sure they wear gloves.
Go on your instincts. If you aren't happy with the tattooist, don't get one done.
Hope it goes OK - has your cousin had one before? Once you start, you can't stop!!!
Let us know how it turns out.
it's her first one although i don't know how she'll get on she hates having her eyebrows plucked as she thinks it's really painful!! a tattoo hurts alot more than that!! i had 3 done about 10 years ago by a tattoist in cornwall. although i know the place needs to be clean it was a while ago i had mine which is why i asked the question so we know for sure that she'll get a good tattooist. thanx for all of your help xXx
