For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.when I was revising for my GCSE's I always made sure that my room was tidy before I started (I always looked to do everything else but revision!) So that way there was nothing left for me to do but stick my head in my books!
I found it really useful to write out my notes in point form first (highlighting the important bits) then later went back and read through the points to see if I could expand on any of them.
Also take lots of short breaks which helps keep your mind focussed. The average girl can concentrate for 1 hour solid (boys for 20 mins!) so try not to do too much in one go as you won't remember it all otherwise.
