Unwanted Download

I posted a topic on Sun 31st re Windows 10 Restore. Ihave been unable to sort out how this can be done. The problem id that, in trying to download a weather app I have ended up with someting called My way free local weather which has taken over my Firefox home page. I have sorted through Programmes and Files hoping to delete it but there is no record of it to be found. Can anyone suggest a solution and thanks in advance.Hope your medical problems get better soon Postdog.

Delete Firefox and start again

Did as you suggested re-installed and yhe unwanted bit was still there.

bjs this could be in firefox addons. click on tools,addons, have a look in there also plug ins

Being a wrinklie how do I fing Tools/Add-ons. Will also run Malware

Seached on the web on how to remove this myway followed yhe instructions and BINGO back to norm. Thanks for all the help.

Although this may seem a legitimate and useful browser plug-in, be aware that My Way is categorized as a browser hijacker or virus. The correct way to uninstall an unwanted program is to:
Click Start (Windows Logo at the bottom left corner of your desktop), choose Control Panel. Locate Programs and click Uninstall a program. And then find the program from the list and uninstall it.
If you want to get rid of it quickly and completely, you are suggested to use a reliable removal tool with such a problem.
