So happy and proud today of my two eldest grandchildren. Exams results out and the eldest with "A"s in Physics, Chemistry, English, Design Portfolio and a "B" in Maths is off to Strathclyde University in September to study engineering. His younger brother is now moving into 5th year with an "A" in maths and "B"s in Physics, Chemistry, Computing and English (bodes well for the future too).
Please forgive a very proud gran, but with all that's happened in my life too very recently, this is the icing on the cake.

DTC, younger one is interested in computer animation and computer gaming. He recently built his own gaming computer as he couldn't buy what he wanted. Beats me where they get the brains from though their dad has an engineering degree and a computing degree like his father before him. My side of the family are more run of the mill though not thick by any means ha ha.
You're allowed to be proud - well done them. I'm proud of 10 yr. old granddaughter who was moved up a year at school last year and so has just sat SATS a year early - got A* English, A in Maths and A in Science. Yes, we can be proud of their achievements. Well done to yours from me. :) x
You've every right to shout about maggie - It is a wonderful feeling isn't it? -
