1. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, if YOU think you are fat, then you need to do something about it. Some people may think you arent but you know yourself and how you feel. Remember though that women can gain up to half a stone in weight during the time of their period. If it is a long term feeling then....
2. Get some exercise anything that involves movement or getting out of puff for 20 minutes 3 times a week will help. If you dont like gym or running, try something like pilates, yoga, walking or swimming or join a club and play a sport. Other than severe medical conditions, there is no excuse for anyone to avoid being active.
3. Low fat this and the other is boring in the long term and not always good for you (as said already), no wonder you are de-motivated and feel fed up. People need fatty foods as well (good fats though) and every so often, a treat. Set yourself targets and treats, and soon you may find yourself getting into a routine that suits you and increases your energy levels and motivation/self esteem. If one night you get the urge to eat something like, lets say a bar of chocolate, then your target for the following would be to push yourself a little further in your exercise and vice versa.
For example, I know that when I go to the gym and run steadily on the treadmill for about 10 minutes, this burns approximately the equivalent of one pint of Fosters, so if I go out for a night and have say 3 or 4 pints (I am not a heavy drinker) then I know that I will have to work extra hard at the gym. This soon focuses the mind.

I wish I lived near the beach!! I'm feeling really jealous here in London (well near Essex really!). It's hard to go for a nice walk where I live, full of traffic fumes and dirty buildings! Although saying that, I could drive over to my nan's and walk round there!! Very pleasant where she lives but still not as nice as the beach! Grrr to all you beach livers!!!
Sorry loobie :( you're more than welcome to visit sunny south shields any time you want haha. Its a lush seaside town and also the birthplace of Ridley Scott!!! StylinSam just try your best and start things off slowly on the exercise front, you dont want to do yourself a mischief. As a few of the previous posts have suggested why not make the most of this rare but beautiful sunshine we're having. Try getting into world cup fever and kick a ball around or take up another sport such as tennis which will keep you active and burn calories.
