Funeral

I have to go to a funeral in the morning - hope to god i wake up in time. I'll probably not sleep all night. The guy is my friend's BIL - so need to be there.

Can you set an alarm to make sure you wake up?
I've just remembered you have hearing problems. Are you worried about not hearing an alarm?

I can set the alarm but what a palaver - it is one for the deaf. You plug it into electricity, set the clock, connect it to a pad, put pad underneath the mattress and when it goes off it nearly catapults you out of the bed and so if I ever have to use it I am awake before it goes off so loathe having to use it. That is why if I ever have appointments for anything I try so much to get them for the afternoon.

Jo - I'll be home after the funeral so won't be worrying about the day - I have had my days of funerals.
