There is a difference between offering reasonable charity and being used as a meal ticket. If your local fellow human beings are able to survive ok on what you already offer, then you have fulfilled any moral duty to them. You then need to concentrate on improving your own society, and other priorities.

Add up all the money that has been given to Eithiopia by Bob Geldof over many, many years -absolutely huge, huge amounts and it hasn't solved the problem, it has merely supported it. And before anyone asks, no I don't have the solution, I wish I did.
