why must food eaten when taking certain medication and if you do not do this what are the effects

Hi wonder


Certain tablets can cause a reaction in your stomach because of their content...aspirin, ibuprofen to name but two. They can make the stomach bleed, but if taken with or after food will stop this from happening. That is one of the reasons why excess of said tablet can do more damage, than say other medication. Hope this exlains your query?
