North Kent, very humid, supposedly hottest day for 50 years. It's not been nice but we've been hotter in Spain over last couple of weeks so no big deal.

for Belfast and surrounding area the weather has just been fine today, we expect the same tomorrow. Red sky tonight which normally looks lovely but that looks like an angry sky (is that possible lol )

Been beautiful here today (reached about 28C, nice). Daughter informs me, about 20 mins. ago, that she can see lightening flickering in the distance.. She is slightly west of York, we are very near the East Coast.

I'm waiting for news that Wilmslow has been declared the largest duck pond in the UK.
Started persisting down at 5.30pm and finished at 7.30pm. 32mm of rain in nearby Prestbury in one hour (let's see how the footballers like that). We had forked and sheet lightning throughout with crashing thunder.
Funnily enough all is calm again now.

What a weird weather day. Half the country has been boiling hot, the other half has had thunder and rain most of the day. I've been in the rainy half, (thankfully).
