Petrol Lawnmower

Any recommendations for a petrol lawnmower please? Spent £400 on a Hayter two years ago and have had nothing but trouble with it.

Cobra are good value for money as they are a reasonably new brand.

In my opinion petrol mowers are by far the best. Reliable and powerful (in my experience) .
McCullough would also be my recommendation but it depends on how much mowing you do really.
£400 seems a lot to pay if it's just for a typical lawn.
