Furrypussycat That's almost exactly what the CAB benefit adviser told us, there is an 'art' to answering the questions truthfully but getting the result you need. They told us it is VITAL to tell put down how you are on the very worst days. Most people feel a bit embarrassed to say how bad they really are and try to 'put on a brave face' which means they are doomed to fail.
Most CAB advisors think they know what they are doing but I think you will find it is the luck of the draw, I work in benefit and credits and see letters from CAB advisors everyday and they spout of about this that and the next but half the time they don't have a clue about the law or how to appeal against decisions made!
