Apparently he wrote a pro-remain article for the Telegraph in secret two days before the result came out. And remember he was one of the chief campaigners!

Boris never was a 'Leave' supporter - but like most other politicians he didn't expect the outcome to be as it was and was therefore happy for the sake of publicity to hang his hat on the 'Leave' campaign. It backfired on him for a while - but not for long. As for Mikey's unqualified diagnosis that Boris is a 'pathological' liar, he needs to look that up. Boris may lie to suit his purpose, as all politicians appear to do, but a 'pathological liar' he is not.
But he was careless/insecure/silly enough to let it get into the public domain Naomi. He ought to have known that such a document could be dynamite in the wrong hands and destroyed it. If ever he becomes PM I hope he's more careful than that with the information which will pass through his hands. Bad enough that he's Foreigh Secretary.
