Tonsillectomy

Im only here for a moan!

Day 5 post tonsillectomy.... and it flippin HURTS!!!!!!

I didnt realise i would have stitches. Im eating solid foods the best i can but wow the jaw pain & earache really hurts! I like my grub ... lol....

Im feeling really chest with "spit" so im trying to sit up and out of bed to avoid any infection...... xx

No mamy it wasnt - i went to the gp today due to a marked increase in pain sje gave me oral antibiotics & i had a really good sleep.

Not long ago i felt a taste in my mouth and it was alot of fresh blood- gave my colleague in ENT a call who said i had to come to a&e and be admitted. So here i am! IV Fluids IV Antibiotics & nil by mouth just in case . Had a lovely peroxide mouthwash too lol x

Stay overnight- more IVs more stinky mouthwash.... hopefully home tomorrow. X

Peroxide mouthwash , ugh. Do your roots when your there , take care .

Tinks I still have nightmares about it and that was 50 years ago !! hope you feel better sooooon xx
