giraffe's

my niece recently got marked down on a question at school, what colour is a giraffe's tongue? now i always thought it was black or purple..... but the teacher told her its blue. yet i cannot seem to find any pictures which might show it, where can i find any proof of this.

please tell me that she's got it wrong, is it really blue!

giraffe toungs are describes as being blue/black so you are half right :-)

I always thought they were blue.
