Back home from the Good Food Show. My feet and back are killing me. Been going to it for about 20 years and never seen so many people there.
Lots of free samples and tastings.
I bought 4 different cheeses including sticky toffe one that is gorgeous. Four different packs of sausages, smoked mackerel, pork pies, lots of pork scratchings, bottle of amarula, rhubarb liqueur and a bottle of cucumber and mint spritzer type thing to have with gin instead of tonic. I got lots of other bits too. When you leave you are given two carrier bags full of goodies as a freebie.
A really good day out, thoroughly enjoyed it.
It sounds better than the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival then. My friend went to that and wasn't too pleased that it was £8 to get in, with not a freebie in sight!
Cameraman kept taking weird shots he didn't like. He had a lady out of the audience to help. After a while he insulted cameraman, lady put her arm round him to comfort him. Paul told her to go back to her seat.
