Windows 10 Again

Hi,

Please can someone tell me where I can find an email address-book in this benighted and completely useless and counter-productive system? A few months ago I was emailing a friend in France (email begins Sylvia something-or other) after she had emailed me. Just trying to send her an e-Xmascard and can't. If I trawl through sent mail it doesn't go back far enough and tells me to use 'search'. I can't find anything resembling 'search' anywhere.

I used to have an address-book on Windows 7 and I could add and change addresses etc.. I feel so helpless and I can do so much less these days that I honestly feel like giving up entirely at times. H E L P !

Log into your account using your web browser. sounds daft but it did work for me. It takes you to https://support.office/en-gb/article/Reconnect-Outlook-2....

What are you using to send emails? Windows Mail, Outlook. something else?

Hello hc, thanks for asking. I've just gone onto my mail and it is g mail. Just phoned a friend who told me she has just lost all her email addresses following an update - she's trying to contact a friend in Spain. :(

It's nothing to do with Windows 10. Open GMail, at the top left of the page you will see a small box with GMail inside, above the 'compose' box.

Click the little arrow inside the GMail box and then click 'contacts'.

Just been onto gmail. There is no 'Compose' box. There is new mail - but nothing above it. Idea?
