Is university a good thing?

A-level results are due and across the country young people are cursing their lack of revision or feeling quietly smug about their efforts. But with all of the push for university places and frenzy over UCAS points, one question that gets asked is; what is the best thing for young people? What do you think, is university the best option for young people when they finish their A-levels? Or is there another, better way?
