Mazie, my Mum had a Pink Witch bicycle. It had a basket on the back and I was so tiny then, I used to ride in the basket when we went shopping!
Tilly, I still have a Triang girls bike in my loft.
Mamya, I used to do the string art. I made a rather large picture of an oil lamp in silver and gold on a black felt covered board. My parents loved it and it hung on a wall for quite a few years, till it became dated I guess.
mikey, my sister had a spirograph. I loved it and I'm sure my Mum loved it too, as it kept me quiet for hours.
I also loved the spacehopper. Nobody could beat me on it. I was very fast!
One year I got a kaleidoscope, which I've still got. They're really beautiful things. They should bring them back. Kids today are far more arty than my generation were. I was always considered weird by my peers. I'm just eccentric is all!

I've made lots too, Mazie.....for the tots I've knitted lap blankets for when they're in the car seat. I've put pockets on and attached little toys and books that fit in the pockets but won't drop on the floor when taken out....
For my retired and galavanting friends I've made jewellery travel pouches on a drawstring.....a pretty pattern I saw on Pinterest I think....
I've had some fun things done by a lady in the village....but as a certain aber is getting one for his birthday I won't say what......☺
