I’m wondering how far in advance can I make it?
Or if I freeze it do I freeze it cooked or uncooked. If I cook it and then freeze it, how best do I reheat it?

Do I need to slice it and reheat individual slices if i use the microwave?
Because I would prefer to keep it as a full roast and slice it once it has been reheated.
As long as it's in a non-metallic baking tin, I see no reason not to microwave it whole.
Hard to say how long (depends on the weight and fat content), but I'd give it (perhaps) 3 minutes and then check that it's heated through - then if necessary keep zapping it for an extra minute at a time until you're happy.
