hi. im a really stupid computer person.ive downloaded piucs from my kodak digi cam(internal memory) to my computer. i put them onto a cd-r disc to take to my local supermarket for printing.but there machines cant read it. could this be cos its on Kodak software? also. how can i fix this? thanks

Probably be easier to just take the camera to a small shop and ask them to do it.

musicmummy - put your CD-R into your computer and look at the contents of the disc.
It should have a number of files on it called for example mypicture01.jpg
picturenamed01.jpg
(obviously they will be named whatever you called them!) but they will most commonly be in JPG format and the file size will likely be in MB (not KB).

If you can't see this on your CD, there lies your problem. If you do have pictures on the CD, but they are in another format (e.g. picture.kdc) then you will either need to convert the pictures to JPG's or take your disc to an outlet that does support this format.

Depends how many of those KB !
Any good Digital Camera (of 3 megapixel and above) should make a picture that is 1MB and above.

If your CD says your file is say 1KB rather than 899995KB then we have found your problem.

Stick the CD in your PC, browse it using My Computer and see what the File Size is - then double click on the file and see if the picture opens.
