How do deers get into a cemetery?
easily Jackdaw. They can clear five feet in a bound no problem
'Daffodils, foxgloves, and poppies are common flowers that have a toxicity that deer avoid. Deer also turn their noses up at fragrant plants with strong scents. Herbs such as sages, ornamental salvias, lavenders, peonies, and bearded irises are just “stinky” to deer'

I get a lot of deer and rabbits in my garden, I've found that they don't like Hellebore's or Ferns.
Our local cemetery has a nature reserve right next door, and this has very small fences which the deer easily jump. We once counted 96 deer coming through, then gave up counting!
I was going to deadhead the lavender when it went over last year. Then I saw some wee birds eating the dead flowers, so I left it. I see them munching away merrily every day now!

Late night boaty?
