I get dozens of spam(probably like everyone else) mails from find a bride to borrow a million to claim against all and sundry. I routinely put these into junk and block them. Increasingly I cannot do this as I am told that the senders address is not valid!! How the heck do they manage to send them if they have not got a valid address??
Outlook used to put all of this stuff into the junk folder automatically and now they put it all into the inbox. Have they changed their policy , and why so. Fed up

Spam folk can put anything in their address because it isn't used to route their spam to you. Does your AV not check for possible spam ? Or your e-mail provider ? How about your e-mail client ?
Mail washer might help. It has a free version.

Thank you both for your interest. I do have eset and will look at that route and also look to see what outlook say they do. Sorry, I just put my whinge into words as I had a whole stream of the .... things today. Went for a walk, saw some field fares and now feel a whole lot better, many thanks.
adblock plus is number one for spam
I didn't realise that Adblock stopped spam......!

As far as I know it doesn't, only stops adverts for Spam.

I do have Ad bloc plus and it just ignores emails. I think that the providers should inhibit the sending of emails from an invalid address. Should be simple enough (??) to program I would have thought.
