For balance, it is worth watching RT (as it always is), When individuals were separated from the group and asked straight-forward questions like 'what is it you want?' and 'why?' those interviewed seemed to be very unclear and without their mantras to repeat, somewhat tongue-tied.
I think 'virtue-signalling' plays a large part, just as it did in the 'Black lives matter' campaign.
