What is wrong with all the characters. A normal street does not have most of the residents being married 5 or 6 times. How many have been married just once? How many have had multiple marriages?
I love the programme and have watched it from day one.missed maybe five episodes from start. But not blinkered to faults.

As I said a few days ago, with gorgeous women like Carla and Michelle in Corrie, why are they saddled with idiots who live in the same street, when in 'real life' there would be queues of men from miles around asking for their numbers.
Why does everyone drink in the same pub, shop in the same shop, eat in the same café, work in the same factory, which are all within two forward rolls of where they live?
Why does every major character take a turn at working in the pub / shop / café/ bistro / laundrette?
Why is there such a large collection of seriously horrible people living in Albert Square, and why don't people move away to get away from the murders, pregnancies, and other nonsense, and why oh why oh why, when they do move away, do they keep coming back????
You see, analysis falls down every time, that's why you have to take soaps as they are - fictional chewing gum for the eyes, nothing more serious than that.
