I have asked what this plant is, in the past on AB, a few years ago probably, but now I cant find my original question.... It appeared on my rockery a few years ago and is so hardy and beautiful, I would love to propagate somehow. Can someone help please?

Hellebores like well drained preferably limy soil, but need shelter and shade foremost. If you have a corner of the garden that is out of the sun, particularly the middle of the day sunshine, they will thrive. They are the first flowers of the year to bloom and ours were out before the Daffs or Tulips. If you have tall bushes or trees planting them under them is a good idea. They will grow there when other plants will not
