"The Play That Goes Wrong"

I got my passport stamped, checked my insurance for foreign travel and programmed the pratnav for sunny Milton Keynes today.

The touring productaon of TPTGR was in town and I'd heard some stupendous reviews from friends.

It was .... utterly fantatsic - my sides are aching still after over two hours of laughing.

Do NOT miss this if it comes near you - it was the best thing I've seen in a live theatre since David Tennant's Hamlet at the RSC - and a damn sight funnier than that was too.

Sell the kids & buy a ticket at any price, tony - it will be worth it :)
Fantastic isn't it, Dave.......if I hadn't been involved in amdram myself I wouldn't have believed just how much can go wrong....but it can!

How they put that play on every night I don't know......I've never seen an audience anywhere laugh that much......and we never found the dog!.....☺
Oh bums! I have just had an email...would I like two free tickets to see The Play That Goes Wrong....next week.....fancy another outing, Dave.....you buy the wine....I'll buy the ice cream......I could see it again!......x

Minty, I think it was in Edinburgh last year, part of the Fringe.
Oh find it somewhere, Minty.....I know you...you'd love it......stock up on the Tena Lady though....x
My youngest son saw this with the school- he said it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen- although he says that about a lot of things

i know someone who went to see this and said the same thing, laughed for the entire show, i did watch a programme about it a month ago and found it very funny.
This one would have been, Pixie.....I'm not a laugh out loud person....but this had the tears running down my face.....and Trevor in the box.....the Scottish guy.....was just brilliant!...x

Yes emmie - it is very good indeed.

Not just the slapstick either (although that is very inventive), but some quite subtle stuff that would be easy to miss - I'd not mind a second look.
Dave wants a second look....YAY!!!!...I've finally pulled!.... ;-)
It was on TV wasn't it? I think I saw the beginning of it, but turned it over.
Ahhh...no that was the panto, Pixie.....I enjoyed that but it wasn't a patch on this.....not as subtle....x
Ah, ok. I probably should have given it a chance anyway.
was this the one where they do Peter Pan, as that was the one
i watched, as said very funny. Especially the plump bloke playing
nanna, he couldn't get through the dog flap...
That's the one, Emmie....good fun...x
