Well it has made its way into the dictionaries, so obviously they've updated spellcheck on the browser accordingly.
You can add words to the spellchecker dictionary on an ad hoc basis. Just right-click on the word. When I typed this the word hoc was underlined but no longer.

I think Emmie means her browser spellchecker.
AB doesn't correct spelling or auto-complete words; it'll be something in your own computer doing that.
Maybe your spellchecker used to highlight it as an error and you selected the option to add it as correct to the dictionary ?

words that are misspelt show up with a wiggly line underneath to indicate the word is incorrect. so you can go back and type in the correct spelling.
It is in Dictionaries, was coined in 2012 I believe.

Not necessarily incorrectly spelt, merely that it is not in your dictionary. You can add new words at any time, there is no limit. I have loads of Welsh words in my dictionary which would be normally underlined.

i didn't know that it went back that far, interesting.
